Life is for the living. No matter what age you are, just start! Dreams don’t die, they have likely been placed on the back burner due to life challenges and trauma. You still have that zeal or passion inside of you ready to be explored, but there is that unsettling voice that may tell you that it is too late, or no one would care. You feel yourself drowning in a sea of responsibilities that never bring you personal satisfaction, rather resentment or frustration. However, if you just give yourself a moment of stillness and reflect on what once inspired you, you’ll realize that your dreams haven’t died, they have just simply been pushed aside waiting for that moment when you decide to just start.

Just starting takes an act of courage because you are exposing your inner passions to the world. You are allowing others to judge and critique what you deem as personal. What you should understand is that judgements and critiques usually are the worst within your own mind. Being your worst critic prevents you from even having the courage to start. Allow yourself to stop, take a moment and breath. Tell your thoughts that it has been long enough and you are tired of waiting to do what would eventually bring you happiness. For now on, no matter what, you are going to put your passions out into the universe and just start. Even if your eyes are closed, knees are shaking, and sweat drips down from your brow, you are going to start. It is time for you to dream again, because life is for the living.
